We are seeking a <b><b><span class=\"emphasis\"><u>Part-Time Driving School Instructor<\/u><\/span>\u00a0<\/b><\/b>to teach students in the <span class=\"emphasis\"><b><u><b>Cincinnati, OH area<\/b><\/u><b><u><b>!<\/b><\/u><\/b><\/b><b><b> <\/b><\/b><\/span>The selected individual in this position is responsible for educating and instructing drivers about the complexities of driving and required skills associated with operating a vehicle in various conditions.<b> <\/b><\/p><p><\/p><p><b>Applicants must reside in the Cincinnati, OH area as this position supports in-vehicle training for students located throughout Cincinnati and the surrounding communities.<\/b><\/p><p><\/p><h1><b>****No Classroom - In Car Training Only***<\/b><\/h1><p><\/p><p><b><u><b>The primary duties of the Driving Instructor are:<\/b><\/u><\/b><\/p><ul><li><p>Deliver practical in-car training to teens and adults where applicable.<\/p><\/li><li><p>Conduct in-car Driving Skills Assessments where applicable.<\/p><\/li><li><p>Engage students in learning. Provide constructive feedback on student progress.<\/p><\/li><li><p>Provide professional and courteous service to all customers, including students and associates.<\/p><\/li><li><p>Understand and follow all AAA Club Alliance (ACA) and Driver Education policies, procedures and applicable state regulations.<\/p><\/li><li><p>Maintain accurate student records pertaining to attendance, instruction, and program status.<\/p><\/li><li><p>Effectively manage schedule and student driver caseload.<\/p><\/li><li><p>Submit reports and other required documents in a timely manner.<\/p><\/li><li><p>Participate in team meetings and training\/development opportunities.<\/p><\/li><li><p>Complete required training within specified amount of time.<\/p><\/li><li><p>Maintain required and applicable certifications.<\/p><\/li><li><p>Keep informed on traffic safety and automotive news. Identify and reports high-impact items and trends.<\/p><\/li><li><p>Influence student enrollments by promoting AAA Driver Education within assigned areas. Represent AAA at schools and community events.<\/p><\/li><li><p>Keep direct supervisor informed of all critical aspects of job function. Share success stories. Ten years of licensed driving and ability to pass a driving record check.<\/p><\/li><li><p>Must possess and maintain an excellent driving record as demonstrated through no infractions or occurrences reported within the last three years including, but not limited to: DUI\/DWI\/OWI\/OUI, refusing a drug\/alcohol test, reckless driving, manslaughter, hit & run, eluding police, drag racing, license suspension, driving while under license suspension, leaving the scene or failure to report an accident, speeding, improper lane change, failure to yield, running a red light or stop sign, following to close, improper turn, seat belt violation, improper use of electronic devices, and\/or non-moving violations such as parking, unpaid citations, vehicle defects or failure to maintain liability insurance in force.<\/p><\/li><li><p>Ability to pass initial pre-employment screenings and required medical screenings for state certification.<\/p><\/li><li><p>Ability to pass ongoing employment screenings upon employment with ACA.<\/p><\/li><li><p>Passion for learning and proven implementation of effective teaching techniques.<\/p><\/li><li><p>Ability to work both independently with little or no supervision and in a team environment.<\/p><\/li><li><p>Ability to appropriately handle high-stress situations.<\/p><\/li><li><p>Excellent written and oral presentation skills. Media and public speaking experience a plus.<\/p><\/li><li><p>Excellent communication skills.
