There is plenty of business year round!<\/p><\/li><\/ul><p><\/p><p><b><u>What our Automotive Service Advisors do:<\/u><\/b><\/p><ul><li><p>Greet customers, answer telephone calls and schedule appointments in a prompt and courteous manner.\u00a0<\/p><\/li><li><p>Review repairs and services with customers to ensure a complete understanding of the services performed.\u00a0 Contact customer any time there is a deviation from the original estimate of cost or time when the vehicle will be ready for pickup.\u00a0 Note the name and time of approval for all repair\/service orders and any additional costs.<\/p><\/li><li><p>Distribute work to all shop technicians while monitoring progress and accuracy of each job.\u00a0 Supply information on request to technicians, as needed.\u00a0 Arrange for repairs and payment for vehicles that are covered by extended warranty programs.<\/p><\/li><li><p>Arrange towing and\/or alternate transportation such as shuttle or rental vehicle when necessary in accordance with Total Repair Care (TRC) standards.<\/p><\/li><li><p>Monitor inspection dates of vehicles in system to ensure the inspections are completed before due dates.\u00a0 Notify customer of need to have vehicle serviced per manufactures recommended intervals and as required by the state and explain the information to the customer.<\/p><\/li><\/ul><p><\/p><p><b><u>What you will need to succeed:<\/u><\/b><\/p><ul><li><p>High School Diploma or equivalent.<\/p><\/li><li><p>Previous experience in the automotive industry preferred, or three years relevant experience in a fast paced environment with a proven Sales and Customer Satisfaction record.<\/p><\/li><li><p>Knowledge of automotive technology and the ability to communicate same information to the support team, customers and Auto Technicians.<\/p><\/li><li><p>ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) Service Advisor Certification is a plus, but not required!<\/p><\/li><li><p>Valid Driver\u2019s License.<\/p><\/li><li><p>Ability to complete required Pre-Employment Screenings (background check and drug screening) if offered the position.<\/p><\/li><li><p>Authorized to work in the USA.<\/p><\/li><\/ul><p><\/p><p>ACA is an equal opportunity employer and complies with all applicable federal, state, and local employment practices laws.
