AAA Club Alliance is currently seeking a Senior Strategist - Organic Traffic Growth and Digital Content at our Cincinnati, OH or Wilmington, DE locations.
The Senior Strategist - Organic Traffic Growth and Digital Content will own and drive both our Search Engine Optimization initiatives as well as end-to-end digital content strategy for all web and app experiences.
In this role you will:
Serve as the organization’s subject matter expert on Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and GenAI-driven organic traffic, leading performance analysis and driving initiatives to grow discoverability across all digital channels.
Develop and execute a unified content strategy that supports brand consistency, customer engagement, and search optimization across web and app experiences.
Partner cross-functionally with Product, UX, Engineering, Analytics, Marketing, Legal, and business units to ensure digital content is clear, compliant, user-centric, and optimized for conversion and search.
Duties & Responsibilities of Senior Strategist include:
1) Organic Traffic Analysis & Execution
Produce and analyze SEO reports to identify and address opportunities to increase organic search to ACA digital properties through improved rankings on search pages including through better use of keywords, site visibility, inbound link quality, and various technical measures.
Devise and drive innovative strategies to ensure continued organic traffic growth, given changes in GenAI and continued evolution of search engine platform behavior
Work with various teams to implement on-page, technical SEO and site-structure enhancements including keyword integration, metatag optimization, and content enhancements for better search rankings.
Collaborate proactively with internal teams (development, product, marketing, and UX) to continuously apply SEO recommendations and best practices.
Conduct competitor content audits to uncover new content opportunities.
Create dashboards and actionable reports for stakeholders and executive leadership to show SEO performance.
Regularly evaluate the quality of inbound links, addressing low-quality or harmful links, and implement link-building strategies to boost the quantity and quality of inbound links.
2) Digital Content Strategy & Governance
Write compelling and clear digital channel copy, ensuring consistency across digital experiences
Own messaging frameworks for key customer journeys, ensuring tone, clarity, and conversion focus.
Develop and maintain a unified content strategy and editorial calendar for all digital channels.
Create and enforce content guidelines to ensure brand voice, legal compliance and UX consistency.
Partner with Marketing and other business line stakeholders to ensure messaging is consistent across customer channels.
Perform competitor analysis to identify high-performing content strategies, taking into account Generative AI developments and opportunities.
Develop SEO-friendly writing, content best practices, and partner with content production team on use of our Content Management System (CMS) (Sitecore XM).
Monitor performance of A/B and multivariate test (in Adobe Target) to iterate copy, layouts, and calls-to action.
Lead regular content-governance reviews with stakeholders across marketing, product, UX, engineering, analytics and legal

Requirements & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field required. Equivalent combination of education, technical training, and experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
Minimum 5 years of experience in both technical and on-page SEO and digital content strategy required.
Strong experience portfolio of optimized digital content required.
Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
Proficiency in industry-standard SEO tools: (e.g., SEMRush, Moz, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, and/or Google Analytics).
Capable of establishing style-guides, tone of voice, and content workflows in partnership with marketing and product teams.
Ability to translate data into actionable content and SEO recommendations.
Technical Acumen: Understanding of HTML/CSS basics, Content Management Systems, site-architecture, tag management (Adobe Launch).
Skilled at influencing diverse stakeholders and facilitating consensus.
Strong project management and follow-up skills.
Precise attention to detail in both copy quality and data tracking.
